French Country Blend
Our "French country blend" sourdough bread is a traditional,
full-bodied, thick-crusted, rustic bread you would find in France.
The "blend" refers to the four different types of flour used to
make this bread: white, whole wheat, rye, and buckwheat. The rye
and buckwheat flours give the bread a hearty, earthy flavor.
To season our French Country bread, we use Alaea Hawaiian Sea
Salt. The hints of Hawaiian red clay in this salt add a deep
complementary flavor to the flour blend and produces a rich
delicious bread that you will not soon forget.
