French Country Blend
sourdough bread recipe. For our French Country loaves with
sesame seeds, we remove the buckwheat flour from the flour blend
and replace it with natural brown sesame seeds. The natural
unhulled seeds are rich in minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants.
Sesame seeds also contain lignans, which have been shown to
have anti-cancer properties. The sesame oil released when the
seeds are cooked is absorbed into the bread crumb and gives
this bread a toasted nutty flavor. This bread is wonderful
to eat with organic butter or as a dipping bread with oil and
with Sesame Seeds
